Travelling to Pitlochry
Pitlochry and Highland Perthshire are easily accessed by road and rail. Situated just off the main A9 trunk road from Perth to Inverness, Pitlochry is approximately one and a half hours by car from Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Inverness.
National Express and Citylink coach services stop in Pitlochry, providing links north to Inverness and south to Glasgow, Edinburgh and the major towns in England. There is also an overnight direct service to London.
By rail, there are regular train services on the main line from Edinburgh and Glasgow to Inverness, with daily direct services to and from London King’s Cross Station and an overnight sleeper.
Our nearest airports are Edinburgh (one and a half hours by car) and Glasgow (about two hours by car).
How to find Dalshian Chalets:
From the North:
Travelling South down the A9 take the slip road to PITLOCHRY.
Drive through the town past Bells Distillery on the left and BP filling station on the right and approximately half a mile further on take the LEFT turn signposted DALSHIAN.
After passing under the railway bridge, drive straight on until you reach a high stone wall on your right, at the end of which is the entrance to Dalshian House. Turn sharp right into the driveway and carry straight on past the large white house on your right to the chalet park at the end.
From the South:
Travelling North on the A9 take the turn off to PITLOCHRY. The slip road passes under the A9 and around the side of the River Tummel.
Take the first RIGHT turn – signposted DALSHIAN.
After passing under the railway bridge, drive straight on until you reach a high stone wall on your right, at the end of which is the entrance to Dalshian House. Turn sharp right into the driveway and carry straight on past the large white house on your right to the chalet park at the end.
